How to prepare for Class 12th Board Exams - CHEMISTRY

Students , It is the high time for exam preparations . Lots of students are suffering from exam anxiety . But at this moment only one thin matters i.e. Smart preparations. Following video explains the easiest method for exam preparations.

Dipole moment , Chemical bonding

Dipole moment determines the polar & non polar character of molecule . It may be defined as the product of either charge & distance between two atoms. Note - Following video will explain entire concept -

Q/A , Williamsons synthesis .

d&f-Block Notes , #Chemistry #Notes

d Block elements are those in which last electron enters in d subshell . Transition elements are those which possess partially filled d-subshell. Notes - Students can download #Notes of d&F-block from following Link -

Organic conversions - Tricks - Part-1

Organic conversion is the most interesting part of organic chemistry  . It can be easily by watching our following video series -

Haloalkanes & Haloarenes - Most easiest way to learn.

Organic reagents means the substance used for a particular chemical reaction. If you know  the  function of  Regent you can easily remember and Complete a chemical reaction. students let's understand the easiest way of learning organic chemistry. Following video explain most easiest method to understand organic chemistry.

How to increase Memory of your Mind !

Students let's understand the techniques to increase the memory power for successful examination. Memory is the measure of retention .  how much you can retain in your mind that is considered as memory.  work regularly on the techniques given in the video to enhance your memory power and I am sure you will be benefited by these techniques.

Carbocation rearrangement , Prediction of Unexpected Product.

In case of organic reaction , mechanism is the key of success . Organic reactions are of three types - (a) Addition Reaction (b) Substitution Reaction (c) Elimination Reactions All the above mentioned reaction involve the use of Electrophile & Nucleophiles. In most of the "electrophilic" reaction we get unexpected Products. Lets understand the formation of Unexpected Products by " Carbocation rearrangement ". Note - Following Video explains all about carbocation rearrangements -

How to built career by Positive determination ?

In my life I have come across such situation so many times that what I think in my subconscious mind is always become reality. I was always amazed by seeing what is going on whatever I think that become reality. But the thing is that when I think by my conscious mind I don’t get that thought in reality but whatever I think in my subconscious mind 24 hours I always see that as reality in my life. Once I was very ill in my conscious mind are used to think that I will become okay but in my subconscious mind there was always a fear of surgery. You all can understand at that time I got surgery. This I’m such a large number of things created a conclusion in my mind that whatever we think in our subconscious mind then always become reality. Dear students same thing I would like to say to you think from your subconscious mind. Always have such determination in your subconscious mind that you are going to be successful . Parents generally used to say that their child is not working at...

Solid state Chemistry Class XII - Important Questions

Haloalkanes , Haloarenes & Phenols - Reasoning questions & Answers

NOTE -  CLICK HERE FOR DOWNLOADING THE PDF OF QUESTIONS & ANSWERS 1.) Why do haloalkenes under go nucleophillic substitution whereas haloarenes under go electophillic substitution . Ans. Due to more electro negative nature of halide atom in haloalkanes carbon atom becomes slightly positive and is easily attacked by nucleophillic reagents. While in haloarenes due to resonance, carbon atom becomes slightly negative and attacked by electrophillic reagents. reagents. 2.) When an alkyl halide is treated with ethanolic solution of KCN, the major product is alkyl cyanide where as if alkyl halide is treated with AgCN,the major product is alkyl isocyanide. Ans. KCN is ionic they can attach through C or N but C-C bond is strong than C-N bond. So alkyl cyanide is the major product but AgCN is covalent so more electronegative N can attach to C and forms isocyanides. 3.) How do primary , secondary & tertiary alcohols differ in terms of dehydrogenation? Ans. 4.) Why ar...

Reduction & reducing agents in Organic chemistry

Reduction Means addition of Hydrogen or removal of oxygen . Reducing agent is a substance used to supply hydrogen to other substance . In organic chemistry lots of reducing agents are used , bUt main reducing agents are , Ni/Hydrogen , lithium aluminium hydride etc. Note - Following video will explains basic process of reduction -

But still lots of student remain without any choice.  Here I am suggesting few of the evergreen career options for a student. These are - 1. PHYSIOTHERAPY  2. Hospitality management  3. Merchant navy  Note - Following video will be helpful for understanding Top 3 evergreen career after class XII -

How to prepare Organic chemistry .

Organic chemistry is generally considered as most difficult part of chemistry from exam preparation point of view . But in actual it is the easiest part which a student can prepare . Organic chemistry Involve following components - 1. Nomenclature 2. General Organic chemistry concepts 3. Name reactions & Other reactions 4. Distinguishing tests Following video will help you   for preparation of Organic chemistry   -

Low cost Coaching for NEET & JEE

Lots of students always face a situation of confusion  while preparing for their future i.e. NEET & JEE. They always think ..is it possible to clear NEET & JEE ? Lakhs of students every year under go coaching for appearing in these prestigious exams but only few can realize their dreams . Following video will help in low coast preparation of competitive exams.

Lets start Preparation for JEE & NEET .

Students lets understand what to prepare from Class XI for JEE & NEET . Dear students , "If want extreme end of success , your preparation must be exceptional" . You can be a performer but you need to be an exceptional achiever . Most of you dreamed for Prestigious IIT & AIIMS but only 1% or few more can get that desired dream come true. How to design Good Question Paper !

Easy Steps for Designing Problem-Based Learning Assignments - Here are the first three (click through for th e rest): 1. Start with the standards. Identify the content, skills, and concepts you plan to cover in a specified unit of time, such as in a three-week period. 2. Think application. Ask yourself, “When would someone use this knowledge in the real world? So what? Why?” 3. Think authenticity and relevancy. Students always want to know why they have to learn something. Authentic assignments show them why! Students are more motivated when they’re given work that is realistic and that reflects something they might actually have to do in the real world, beyond school doors. Here’s what inauthentic vs. authentic assignments look like: Inauthentic: Create a model of an ecosystem and describe the lifecycle and food-chain relations to it. Authentic: A local building contractor is planning to bulldoze all of the trees in a nearby copse. These are some local groups appealing to...

Nomenclature of Ester & Poly functional compounds .

Ester functional group is R-COO-R . Name should be written as - Name of group Attach to Oxygen   Substituent  + Word root + Primary suffix + Secondary Suffix. Note - Method of naming is give in video ahead.' Poly functional group compounds are those which possess more than one functional group . Out of all the functional group one is selected as Functional group & remaining group as substituent. Note - Method Of naming of such compounds is given in video ahead. PICS INSTITUTE is constantly doing efforts for the uplifting the student's confidence in chemistry . We have started Free Course in Organic chemistry on our YouTube channel "pics4iit". We are providing free worksheets & support for subscribers & registered students. Here we are posting the answers of the 1st - Exercise of "IUPAC Nomenclature"
