7 Time Management Tips for Students

We all get the same 24 hours in a day.
Albert Einstein, Mother Teresa, Isaac Newton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Leonardo da Vinci – they all had 24 hours a day, just like you and me.
Which strength enabled them to lead such significant lives?
They managed their time very well.
This article is all about their   effective time management tips .

As your exams are approaching , you should be thinking about how to get better at time management and organize your days so you can strike the best balance between personal life and academics.

If you arrange your priorities, you can give yourself the best chance of staying on track and organized during the exam period, which will help reduce stress levels, something that can be the difference between success and failure.
Now have look at our top seven time management tips, so that you can do your best academically and also find time to relax .

1. Don’t rely on your brain as a storage device.
Instead, write down every single thing which  you need to do: assignments, projects, notes , etc.
Review the list daily to ensure that you’re working on the every task which you have to do .
The  first stage of improving your time management is to list absolutely each and everything that you have to do. This may sound obvious, but speaking from experience, most students tend to leave important tasks until the last minute, which can impact on the quality of their work and their overall grade.

Quality of life improves when you decide to do things differently. In this case, the goal is to gain control over time, rather than letting it control you. It is about taking ownership of time, which is the essence of your life. The foremost  objective of time management is for you to have a clean and clear picture of your upcoming days, weeks, and months. So now work on each day. It is a way for you to discover what time you have available to devote to study, recreation, or other activities. Make the decision to be the master of your life, rather than its suffering slave!
Put such  calendar in front of your table
8 am to  9 am  chemistry
9:15 am to 10:15 physics
10: 15 to 10:45. Exercise
11:00 to 11: 15 fruits

3. Be flexible and realistic
Always be in the real world . Do not over assume . There are many students who overestimate what they can accomplish in a day. When they don’t manage to complete everything they intended to, they get discouraged and lose motivation.
So be realistic when you plan your day, and assume that there will be a few distractions when you will be working..
Typically, allow around 8-10 hours a day for working, studying, socializing and anything else practical you need to do.
If ever you feel that you are not willing to work  …spare sometime …. Go for a walk or listen to the music and resume back to work . You will find that you are more focused now .If you will keep such realistic aspects in you planning it will easy to follow  .

4. Remember to rest
Talking about during time management     But yes   this is one of those tips doesn’t seems productive but trust me when I say that it is not. No one can continue to work full energy and enthusiasm  for a solid eight hours.

5. Always keep a pen and paper with you
Best ever tip for learning is to learn by writing

6. Concentrate on one task at a time
Immerse yourself fully in one task at a time and focus on  quality rather than quantity

7. Make use or wasted time
Take a break and  look at how much time you waste each day. Time spent in travelling , sitting in waiting rooms and standing in a queue is often tasks up by you scrolling on your phone. Keep your phone aside and make the most of this time by doing something productive such as catching up on your notes. You'll be surprised at to see that how much you get done in the day when you use every  single spare moment
It’s tempting to use your commute time to surf the Internet or go through your social media feeds.
But you can use this time to think about a concept you  could not grasp, write that in  your copy or listen to an audiobook.
This is a simple time management tip that goes a long way in helping you become a successful student!
